Who is Kelly
I grew up in Wisconsin, where I developed a deep love for animals, the outdoors, and, of course, the Green Bay Packers.
After earning my bachelor’s degree in Milwaukee, I moved to South Carolina to pursue my Master’s in Clinical Counseling. Those two years were a time of tremendous personal and professional growth—and where I formed lifelong friendships that still mean the world to me.
In 2019, my husband and I moved to Japan, where we spent four unforgettable years immersed in the culture and exploring Southeast Asia. It was also the place where clinical career officially began. I worked as a psychotherapist at TELL Japan, a non-profit organization offering multilingual counseling services. I had the honor of supporting a wonderfully diverse group of clients—expats, military families, teachers, and English-speaking Japanese locals—which gave me valuable insight into the diverse ways people experience and heal from life’s challenges.
Living abroad sparked my passion for travel and deepened my curiosity about the world and the people in it. Now back in the U.S., I continue to chase adventure and try to stay connected to different cultures. Whether it’s by hopping on a plane, diving into a new hobby, or finding ways to connect with different communities right in my own backyard…
I’m always Rooted in my love for Growth.
Kelly’s mission
Working in the mental health field has shown me the incredible beauty of supporting people on their wellness journeys—and also the tough realities that can come with it. After five years as a licensed therapist, I began to feel the weight of limitations placed on both clients and clinicians by things like insurance restrictions and state-by-state licensure laws. The more I worked, the more I saw how these barriers created a frustrating gap in care—one I couldn’t close, even when I knew how to help.
So, I started looking for a new path. One that allowed me to do the work I love in a way that aligns with my values: providing meaningful, accessible support without all the red tape. Coaching gives me the freedom to reach people wherever they are—literally and emotionally—and offer flexible, creative ways to promote mental wellness.
As someone who’s been part of a community constantly on the move, I understand how important it is to have support that moves with you. That’s why my mission is rooted in:
Providing care that isn’t limited by location
Offering workshops that make mental wellness education more accessible
Building community through supportive group spaces
Creating a welcoming environment for those who don’t want—or need—a formal diagnosis for personal growth
My mission is simple:
to make mental wellness more accessible, personalized, and a lot more human—while helping people feel empowered, connected, and supported in ways that feel right for them.
