Who is Kelly?

I’m a licensed clinical therapist who has expanded my professional identity to include “mental wellness coach.” As a coach, I am able to diversify and be more creative with how I connect with people and support people’s overall mental wellness.

It gives me more flexibility and allows me to reach people across the geographical map—helping me grow and strengthen communities in ways that traditional therapy alone can’t due to insurance limitations and regulatory requirements.

In 2019, I graduated from my clinical counseling program, got married, and moved to Japan with my (now) ex-husband for four years. I had to abruptly learn how to balance being a military spouse and maintaining my own identity (if you know you know)

In Japan, I worked for TELL Japan, a counseling clinic that provided services throughout the country. Most of my clients were expats and military spouses—two populations I remain deeply passionate about supporting.

I also fell in love with travel and adventure while exploring Southeast Asia

In 2023, the military took us to Baltimore and in 2025 my marriage fell apart. I ventured out on my own as a “single 30-something,” woman who had never lived alone before.

Now I am using all of my professional training and personal experience to build community, support military spouses, remove the stigmas about “single-life,” and help people get their spark back.

Other things I love to talk about beyond mental wellness? Travel, music festivals, stained glass art, the NFL (Go Pack Go 🏈), anything outdoorsy, and my very cute dog sidekick, Macy.

Whether it’s by hopping on a plane, diving into a new hobby, or finding ways to connect with different communities right in my own backyard…

I’m always Rooted in Growth.

Kelly’s mission

After years as a licensed therapist, I still loved supporting people through their journeys. However, the more experience I got, the more I saw the barriers and frustrating gaps in the field, limiting people in achieving mental wellness.

That didn’t sit right with me.

I started looking for a new path. One that allowed me to do the work I love in a way that aligns with my values: providing a variety of meaningful, accessible support options without all the rigidity. Coaching gives me the freedom to reach people wherever they are—literally and emotionally—and offer flexible, creative ways to promote mental wellness.

My mission is simple:

to make mental wellness more accessible, personalized, and a lot more human—while helping people feel empowered, connected, and supported in ways that feel right for them.
