What is mental wellness coaching?

Mental wellness coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented service designed to strengthen your overall mental fitness. It emphasizes autonomy, self-awareness, and empowerment to help you create more balance, fulfillment, and clarity in your life.

This process is all about personal growth—defined by YOU.

Together, we’ll take a flexible, solution-focused approach to identify what matters most to you and create a personalized, supportive plan to help you get there. That plan might look different for everyone—and that’s the point.

  • Sometimes the goal starts broad: “I want to better understand myself and explore some patterns I’ve been noticing.”

  • Other times it’s more specific: “I want to clearly communicate my boundaries with [a specific person].”

Additionally the plan we create can be just as specific or general as you need, especially at the beginning. We'll work as a team to explore your goals and how to reach them. This might include:

  • Identifying your values

  • Developing practical coping skills

  • Gaining insight and building self-awareness

  • Improving self-compassion

  • Being held accountable as you take action

I draw from a variety of tools and modalities based on your unique needs and preferences. In coaching, our focus is on the here and now—and on what you want to be different moving forward.
